Because of an unavoidable external event, the previously scheduled game for the day was cancelled. So not knowing what to do we all just turned up with a few different minis for games. In the end I played a game of Starmada with my space ships, and two games of Pirates of the Spanish Main. There were games of conqueror and DBA happening on adjacent tables as well, so all in all quite a game filled day.
My luck with dice were pretty good today, winning the Starmada game and the first pirates game. Did moderately well in the second pirate game as well, until all my ships were sunk or derelicted (is that a word?) But I did snatch enough loot to get me into second place (out of 5).
Quite fun, today.
