Cool Beans! YAY! One of my entries, Hanako (or see here for more shots of her face) from Hasslefree Miniatures in the "Fifth Annual Female Miniature Painting Challenge" came in second in the Alternative Genre.I'm really thrilled as its my favourite category where a lot of the interesting entries were. Kudos too to Alessio Cisbani aka"Wolfbane" for snagging both first and third place in that category with two very different and very nice Alices!
My favourite of the entire competition didn't get placed though, a lovely painting of a Perry AWI lady by Joe Videki aka "Guildmeister", another entry in the alternative genre.
Also I would like to specially mention Irene Turner aka "Zordana" whose Jen and Meg from Hasslefree Minis came in 1st and 2nd in the small minis category, another two of my favourites. Lovely stuff.
Finally thanks to Jason (aka "Mancha"... in case anyone is keeping track) for organising the challenge, it was great fun!
