Colonel Marbles is the online persona of one of the founders of Frothers Unite, a great forum for discussing miniatures. One I have subscribed to for a long time. Shane Hoyle, sculptor extraodinaire sculpted this mini to represent the Col and they got it cast (by PeteB) and sold it, proceeds to go into running the website/forum.This particular mini I painted to be a newspaper editor :) grumpy and never backs down! I thought I would give it that old fashion look by fancying up the vest. Got the black line on one side too dark unfortunately. I also made it a nice textured base too! Sort of like cobblestoned roads, just to reinforce the old fuddy duddy feel.
