Here are a pair of fatgoblins by Newbold, and in fact, Ian commissioned me to paint them up. They were entered into his Newbold Challenge helping raise money for Children in Need & Comic Relief. This is the second time I'm painting these figures (click here to see the first ones) so I wanted to try something different. The strange pattern on the front of the shirt was actually inspired by a recent viewing of Miami Vice (the movie) on a plane. I love those mexican style shirts. Not too happy with how the capes turned out though...
