Crashed spaceship

Just finished painting this crashed space ship that came in the GW 40K Battle of Maccrage box set. I managed to get it relatively cheaply by buying it off Battlewagon bits which sells parts of GW plastic sprues. What a fantastic idea!

Majority of the painting was done with simple dry brushing and washing. The only bits I had to more carefully paint was the glass of the cockpit and the bit of detailing next to it, the scanner and pouch belt. I stuck to a simple colour scheme so that it doesn't stand out too much (and easier to paint too!) The harsh lighting in the photo really brought out the shadows so much more! The picture looks better than it does in real life! haha
